GOAL OF DALTON INTEGRATED SYSTEMS
The goal of Dalton Integrated Systems is to partner with an established manufacturer much the same way Les Paul did with Gibson to develop and produce a branded product line as a signature series with new cutting edge concepts for the enhancement and simplification to enable the everyday musician/band/solo performer to run their own show without the aid of an audio/stage crew.

INTROLet’s dissect one of the most iconic musical brands ever from it’s origins that took 23 years to develop
into production.
It was simply contrived out of necessity using existing elements…the telephone and the radio…
it became the first electric guitar that Gibson eventually agreed to produce, but didn’t want to
put the Gibson name on it… The Les Paul was born.
NOTES
1) Les Paul didn’t invent the telephone or the radio…when he couldn’t be heard performing, he realized what had to be done to enhance his performance. He then discovered and integrated the existing technology to amplify the sound of the guitar and his voice.
2) For a complete decade between 1941 and 1951 his idea was turned down by Gibson as no one
seemed to embrace the idea of an electric guitar.3) A similar story regarding his multitrack recording idea wherein he was given his first Ampex tape recorder in 1949 by Bing Crosby, once again wanting to create music when no one else was around he imagined being able to record one part at a time using the existing Ampex recorder technology…lining up 8 mono trks…then 3 years to develop the sync function from 1953 to 1956 the first 8 track recorder was born as well as the console able to route signal to each track.4) Gibson and Ampex were both wildly successful producing the ideas that came from the mind of Les Paul.

With a focus on excellence, we aim to empower the world of performing musicians with solutions that not only meet their immediate needs but also elevate and stimulate each and every performance all at a price every musician can afford. * DIS concepts are just a matter of "integrating" the right existing elements creating the performance/staging gear of the future.
COMBINING TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS
As both a recording engineer/producer and a live performer
Gary Dalton understands the difference between the two environments. Live performing musicians generally set up gear in the hour before they perform usually in a location where they can't sound check to get a sound that is pleasing to the venue and audience...if any of the performers even have the knowledge to do so. In the studio environment all the time and tools necessary to get it right are utilized during the performance of each instrument/vocal. DIS concepts will merge these two and provide simple solutions to both live and recording performances.

EVIDENCE OF INEVITABLE CHANGE
Major touring guitarist Kirk Hammett of Metallica finally dumped the guitar amps...
Always ahead of the times this is something Gary did over 4 decades ago to achieve consistent performance in the studio and live performance through processing direct to mixer !
